Presenting at NAFSA conference 2014 San Diego

More than 8,500 international education professionals from across the world will attend NAFSA annual conference in San Diego from May 25-30. More than 200 concurrent sessions will cover topics under following “knowledge communities” Education Abroad, International Education Leadership, International Enrollment Management, International Student and Scholar Services and Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship.

I will be co-presenting in following two sessions on retention research and trends in international education:
NAFSA International Student Retention Research: Results and Practical Implications

The final report and results from the NAFSA undergraduate international student retention research project will be unveiled during this session. This moderated panel includes an overview of the data accumulated over the past year from the lead researcher, and a discussion of two campus-based perspectives on implementing retention best practices.
